Dr. Lamia Kamal began her professional career in the public sector as a laboratory physician, where she witnessed firsthand the daily struggles of patients who often waited long hours to receive even the most basic medical services. This experience became a turning point in her perspective, leading her to believe that healthcare is not merely about treatment, but a fundamental human right that must be provided with dignity and compassion.

She chose to continue working within the public healthcare system so that her mission would remain at the forefront of her work every day. From this vision, the idea of establishing Egypt Without Disease Foundation was born. The foundation was officially launched in 2027 to serve as a source of hope, providing integrated healthcare services and working to ensure that every patient receives humane and dignified care that respects their needs and preserves their dignity.
