Our Mission in South Sudan

Delivering Integrated Eye Care Services

The South Sudan branch of Egypt Without Disease, operating under the slogan “South Without Disease… The Dream Is Not Faraway,” has launched the Vision 360 Program, a comprehensive initiative providing integrated eye screening services.

The program offers eye examinations, free medical eyeglasses, medications, and ophthalmic surgeries for the most vulnerable patients, as part of efforts to strengthen healthcare services and enhance humanitarian cooperation between Egypt and South Sudan.

It aims to reach 2,000 beneficiaries by the end of 2026.

What We Provide

Comprehensive Eye Care Services

Eye Examinations Using modern screening methods, individuals receive accurate and efficient eye assessments to detect vision problems early.
Eyeglasses & Medications Free medical eyeglasses and essential medications are provided to ensure proper treatment and improved daily vision.
Ophthalmic Surgeries Advanced surgical care is offered to the most vulnerable patients in South Sudan requiring specialized eye treatment.
Healthcare Cooperation The program strengthens collaboration between Egypt and South Sudan to enhance healthcare accessibility and community impact.

Phase One

Phase One - Achievements

The first phase was successfully implemented over 9 days under the leadership of Mr. Masoud Raouf.

  • 696 individuals received eye examinations
  • 382 eyeglasses were distributed
  • Health awareness sessions were conducted

Phase Two

Phase Two – Currently in Progress

This phase focuses on expanding eye screening services across different regions to reach more beneficiaries.

  • Eye screening for children and adults
  • Distribution of eyeglasses and medications
  • Expanded outreach to new communities

The program continues to improve access to essential eye care services.This phase is being implemented under the supervision of Egypt Without Disease organization – South Sudan Branch.
